SOLUTION PROPOSAL
Data collection from production will be addressed using networked, stationary SEMBOX terminals with connected barcode scanners. All order information—such as order number, worker ID, operation number for the respective order, etc.—will be printed on the production sheet in the form of barcodes. Data entry into the system will occur by scanning the respective barcode, which speeds up the data entry process and minimizes human error. If an operator logs into a workstation without completing the previous operation, they must be alerted to this fact (with the option to offer completion of the previous operation). If the previous operation is not completed, logging into the next production operation must be blocked.
Overview reports based on the collected data will be generated in an intranet application, ensuring accessibility for multiple employees without the need to install special software. Thanks to this technology, production reports will also be viewable on mobile devices using any internet browser. Access will be divided into multiple levels according to access rights.
IMPLEMENTATION OF THE SOLUTION
This workstation is located directly in the production halls, where operations related to the respective order—such as cutting, grinding, welding, sandblasting, etc.—are carried out. This workstation is equipped with a SEMBOX terminal connected to a barcode scanner. Through the data displayed on the SEMBOX device, the operator is informed about the expected input data—operator login, entry of the order number, operation code, and operation status. In the case of incorrectly entered data, the operator is notified with an error message displayed on the SEMBOX device.
WORKSTATION MASTER OF PRODUCTION
All data entered at the PRODUCTION workstation is recorded in an SQL database. The production master can access an application through a web interface that allows for various views of this data. Depending on the selected filter, it is possible to display, for example, the total time worked on this order, the total time for a specific operation on the order, the working time of a particular worker on the order, etc. The production master has the option to edit the records of operators, customers, and operations. Naturally, there is also the ability to manually correct a record via an access password.
