The PACKING CHECK solution is designed for customers who need to monitor the progress of operations related to the final packaging of a product. The application controls the individual operations according to the packing recipe of a specific customer. The application includes data storage to ensure complete traceability.

Within the production cycle, non-conformities arise due to incorrect packaging of the final product or confusion at the PRODUCT – PREPARATION – PALETTE level. It is not uncommon for the operator to put a different number of parts into the crate than the customer requires, or to forget to insert the carton liner during the packing process, which leads to damage to the product during transport, for example. The insertion of a part from order A into a crate destined for order B is also very common. Incorrect labelling of the crate/pallet is just a consequence of previous operations. All these conditions have one denominator – COMPLAINT.
How to prevent unwanted situations?
Using the PACKING CHECK solution, the operator has the possibility to enter the ORDER number or the PRODUCT TYPE via the touch screen All in one PC. The operator is then instructed by the system what pallet to take, what type of crate to use, how many pieces should be in the crate, how many crates on the pallet, etc. At the end of the whole process, a label (with 1D/2D code or RFID) is automatically printed on either the crate or the pallet. All data is recorded in ONLINE mode. Through the web application it is possible to monitor the current status of the packaging process. In case of a complaint, you can immediately find out WHO packed which PALETTE, WHEN, which PRODUCTS were on a given PALETTE, what PRODUCT was in a given PRODUCT, or what serial numbers the PRODUCTS have in this PRODUCT…
In case there is another parameter to be checked in the packaging process (for example, passing the product through a tester before final packaging), the PACKING CHECK application is ready for this as well. Does the total weight of the crate / pallet need to be documented to the carrier ? No problem.
The PACKING CHECK application can work autonomously or with a connection to the customer’s existing ERP and WMS system.
