Due to the high level of dust in the production areas, these devices required frequent maintenance, particularly regular cleaning. Any fans or openings in the devices were undesirable. <a href=\"https:\/\/bartech.sk\/en\/\">BARTECH SLOVAKIA<\/a> proposed the use of rugged <a href=\"https:\/\/obchod.bartech.sk\/products\/zebra-et55-tablet-8-3-android-wi-fi-4g\">ZEBRA ET55<\/a> tablets<a href=\"https:\/\/obchod.bartech.sk\/products\/zebra-et55-tablet-8-3-win10-wi-fi-4g-1\">,<\/a> which, in addition to being dust-tight, also featured a sufficiently large touchscreen for displaying the necessary information. These industrial tablets running the Android operating system, paired with <a href=\"https:\/\/obchod.bartech.sk\/products\/zebra-snimac-li2208-cierny-1\">ZEBRA LI2208<\/a> handheld scanners, created a powerful tool that met all of the customer\u2019s requirements.   <\/p>\n<p>For mobile data entry during the manufacturing process, rugged <a href=\"https:\/\/obchod.bartech.sk\/products\/zebra-tc57x-android-2d-wi-fi-lte-gms-nfc-gps-1\">ZEBRA TC56<\/a> terminals\u2014also running the Android operating system\u2014were designed. After a brief trial period with several types of terminals, the warehouse workers ultimately preferred the same <a href=\"https:\/\/obchod.bartech.sk\/products\/zebra-tc57x-android-2d-wi-fi-lte-gms-nfc-gps-1\">ZEBRA TC56<\/a> terminals that had already been selected for production workers. <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-1201\" src=\"https:\/\/bartech.sk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/Cloetta-ET51_vozik-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\">The remaining challenge was to equip the forklifts with devices featuring larger displays, since forklift operators need to see more information during the picking process. This customer requirement was ultimately met by the durable ZEBRA ET5x tablets, combined with a rugged frame for mounting on the forklift and including direct charging of the tablets from the forklift. For fast, reliable barcode scanning<strong>,<\/strong> these tablets were supplemented with <a href=\"https:\/\/obchod.bartech.sk\/products\/zebra-ds3678-hp-usb-kit\">ZEBRA DS3678<\/a> scanners<strong>,<\/strong> which can withstand rougher handling by operators and accidental drops from the forklift cab onto the floor.  <\/p>\n<p>During the implementation of the project itself, following initial positive experiences with production and logistics, additional requirements arose for using tablets to monitor OEE and machine maintenance in production. The fact that the OEE monitoring software runs only on the Windows operating system was not a complication.
